Handicrafts & Artisanal Products
We teach women to create traditional and innovative handmade products such as quitapenas dolls, fine jewelry, tote bags, artisan soaps, decorative cushions, and centerpieces.
These products are not only culturally meaningful, but also serve as a source of income and empowerment. Women learn both design and marketing, helping them turn their creativity into economic opportunity while preserving Guatemalan heritage through their hands.

Health & Wellness Support
PROChapina works to ensure that families in vulnerable situations have access to essential health services. We support medical checkups, dental care, mental health resources, and nutrition assistance.
Our goal is to improve quality of life, prevent illness, and foster a culture of wellness where health is a right—not a privilege. With community partnerships, we bring health solutions directly to those who need them most.

Education & Scholarships
We believe education changes lives. Through scholarships, tutoring, and digital tools, we help children, youth, and adult learners overcome financial barriers and stay in school.
Our program also supports access to internet, computers, and study spaces, giving students the tools they need to succeed. Every scholarship represents hope, a future, and a commitment to breaking the cycle of poverty through knowledge.
Housing & Construction Aid
Many families in Guatemala live in unsafe or unstable housing conditions. PROChapina provides support through home repairs, basic construction projects, and emergency shelter assistance.
Our goal is to create safe, dignified living spaces that allow families to thrive. We also involve families in the process, ensuring they take part in rebuilding their lives with dignity and ownership.

Support for Single Mothers
Single mothers often carry the full weight of their families.
Our program offers emotional support, skills training, and economic opportunities tailored to their unique needs.
We empower them to provide for their children, build stable homes, and pursue personal goals. With guidance and community backing, single mothers find strength, dignity, and the tools to break cycles of hardship.
Elderly Care Program
We care deeply for the elderly in our communities. Many face isolation, hunger, or inadequate housing.
We provide nutritious meals, secure living spaces, and regular visits to ensure they are seen, supported, and valued.
Our approach is rooted in respect, preserving their dignity and recognizing their lifelong contributions. We aim to build a compassionate network where no elder is left behind.

Computer Access & Digital Literacy
We care deeply for the elderly in our communities. Many face isolation, hunger, or inadequate housing.
Technology access is a right, not a luxury. Our computer program provides children, youth, and women with access to laptops, internet, and digital tools for education, exams, research, and entertainment.
Many of our users had never used a computer before; now, they can complete schoolwork, explore new ideas, and gain digital skills essential for modern life. Our goal is to create a dedicated computer lab, giving more families a window to opportunity. We provide nutritious meals, secure living spaces, and regular visits to ensure they are seen, supported, and valued.

Sponsorship Program
Our sponsorship program connects generous individuals with children and youth who need educational and emotional support.
Sponsors help cover school fees, materials, and sometimes even basic needs like food or clothing. Beyond financial help, the program creates powerful relationships that offer encouragement and hope.
Every sponsor gives a child a reason to dream—and the support to make those dreams possible.
Eco-Stove Industrial Initiative
Many families in rural and low-income communities still cook over open fires, which can be dangerous and harmful to health.
Through this program, we provide eco-friendly industrial stoves that are safer, more efficient, and cost-effective.
These stoves not only reduce smoke-related illnesses and fire risks, but also help women start or expand small food businesses.
By using less wood and cooking faster, they save time, protect their health, and generate income—turning a daily necessity into a tool for empowerment.
